Add some protection to Toyota’s sheet metal frame-end lower link mounts! Our link mount skids fit all 2003+ 4runner, 2007+ FJ Cruiser, 2003+ GX470/GX460 Skids are CNC plasma cut, CNC formed and hand welded using USA-made 3/16” 1018 steel, includes a new, correct length Grade 8, 9/16” bolt and Nylock nut.

One of the biggest problems with the lower link bolts, is fishing a wrench in to hold the nut, mainly on the drivers side, between the mount and gas tank. We’ve remedied that issue with a capture washer. so once installed, only one wrench is required to tighten/loosen the bolt. With the minor “adjustment” of the factory mount, this allows the skid to butt up against both sides of the factory mount(without an offset washer on the inside). Doing so reduces leverage on the factory mount and bolt when impacted laterally.

**Stock lower link mount requires a slight straightening for installation, which can simply be done with an adjustable(Crescent) wrench.**
