Cab mount relocation brackets for Toyota Tacoma, 4Runner, FJ cruiser, Tundra, Sequoia and Lexus GX/LX. Brackets are CNC plasma cut and CNC formed in-house from USA-made 1/4” HRPO 1018 steel. The included bolts can also be inverted so just the bolt head is exposed underneath. The included load plates are made from 3/16" USA-made HRPO 1018 steel and are to be welded to frame rail first, then the bracket welded to the load plate. Our open-bottom design also eliminates the possibility of mud and water from getting trapped inside and causing rust/rot issues.

Comes as a kit with left and right brackets(logo faces the back of the vehicle), interlocking and sleeved polyurethane Energy bushing kit(USA-Made), 2 grade-8 bolts with nylock nuts and washers to replace the 9” long factory bolts. Along with load plates and filler discs for the exposed factory hole in the frame rail.

Once installed, we have found it near-impossible to get a surface protectant on the tops, so we’re offering them in a gloss black powder coat. Simply grind off the coating where they will be welded and then only a small part of the brackets and the frame rails will require paint.

Fits:

2005+ Toyota Tacoma

2003+ Toyota 4Runner

2007-2014 Toyota FJ-Cruiser

1998+ GX470 / LX470 / LX570

2007+ Toyota Tundra

2000+ Toyota Sequoia

***Some models(full size vehicles) may require trimming of the bracket, as the factory mount is shorter in overall length. Second Generation Tundra and Sequoia's have a different main bracket that may require trimming for a precise fit. ***

***Load plates may or may not need a slight bend put in them to fit the frame rail properly. Failure to use the load plates will cause the factory frame rail to crack around the welds of the bracket. This is a VERY COMMON problem for those that don’t utilize a load plate.***

**Before cutting factory mounts off, the cab will need to be held up in place, under the pinch welds. If not supported, when the factory cab mounts are removed, the unsupported part of the cab can drop and cause interference issues(IE: previously installed sliders, or lines/wiring ran between frame rail and cab floor). If you have sliders already installed, wood blocks have been inserted between sliders and pinch weld to keep the cab supported when the mount is removed. Also, referenced in the pictures is the factory bolt and washer. The washer is removed from the bolt and reused, along with our washer, inside the cab. If the washer is not reused, our washer can deform in the cab’s sleeve(which has an abnormally large top opening) and lose compression. The Bolts need to be TIGHT for final install, if the bolts are not tight, there will be play in the bushings, possibly damaging the bushings. There is no exact torque spec, we do like to see a slight visible compression of the bushing during final install.**

***All kits come with a round, weld-in filler plate to cover a factory hole in the frame rail that becomes exposed when the factory body mount is removed. The exposed hole is where our load plate is to be located, simply weld the plate in the hole(some grinding may be required) and then grind welds off flush with frame rail before welding on the load plate and cab mount bracket. These round filler plates may vary between 1/8-1/4" as they are nested in between parts on the plasma table, material thickness is irrelevant, they just need to be mounted flush to the outside of the frame rail.***

***Tacoma Specific Kits come with a second, larger, weld-in filler plate for the frame, as some years of the Tacoma's, the exposed hole in the frame under the factory cab mount, is larger. The extra filler plate is the only difference between the kits.***

***Tundra/Sequoia Specific Kits come with a longer main bracket and frame filler discs, as the full size application has a slightly longer bracket length. Not all years have the holes under the factory bracket, however we include the discs anyways.***

***These will also work if there if a body lift installed on the vehicle as well. Simply omit the body lift puck and hardware and "cheat" the bracket and load plate up on the frame rail to compensate for the body tub sitting higher. It is also possible to flip the bushing kit in whatever orientation nets the most reach if needed(usually for 2" body lifts). This excludes Tundra/Sequoia applications, where body lift pucks and their associated longer hardware will need to be retained and reused***

***Due to the current supply chain issues, bushings may vary between black and red depending on what inventory Energy Suspension has in stock during stock order purchases***

***Disclaimer: These brackets require cutting and welding on the consumer's end, these should only be installed by a skilled welder/fabricator. Being that they are a modification to an auto manufacturer's production vehicle, they are for off-road use only***
